Punchestown Festival of Racing

I was lucky enough to be invited to the Punchestown Festival of Racing by Bermingham Cameras to photograph the people of the festival.

The premise of the day was to shoot the festival in all of its glory and show the beauty beyond the horses, so I felt it best to focus on the crowd and the fashion on display. I used a street photography mindset to shoot in a way that felt fresh and different to what would be expected at a horse racing event. Above are the three images I entered into Bermingham Cameras’ photography completion for the weekend, where one of my images was selected for display in Punchestown for the final race weekend of the season.
